The third in a year-long series of monthly conversations featuring a different visiting teacher each month. On April 25, Lama Willa Miller will be in conversation with Pema Khandro.
Lama Willa Miller
While we might think of a mortal coil, great masters of the past have taught that the body is the temple, a profound source of yogic wisdom. As the Hevajra Tantra, says “Great wisdom lives in the body”. This wisdom does not arise from our ideas and opinions about the body. It arises from the power of the body to draw us into the present moment, the domain of wakefulness and ease.
Over three sessions this winter and spring, Lama Karma will lead practice and discussion on the three Kayas, or Bodies of the Buddha. We will explore these dimensions of awakening through embodied practice, breathing, and contemplation. Dharma Sundays with Natural Dharma Fellowship are led by highly trained NDF Dharma and guest teachers, include guided meditation, teachings, and time for discussions.
