The four immeasurables (or four brahmaviharas) describe the contours of what it means to love impartially, immeasurably and unconditionally. The immeasurables challenge us to see love not as something that “happens” to us, but as a deep heart-centered practice that we can develop over time. In this Dharma Dialogue, Lama Willa and Lama Gursam will explore what it means to take love, compassion, sympathetic joy and equanimity as a path to leading a more fulfilling life.
Dharma Dialogues is a series of intimate informal exchanges between Lama Willa, Lama Liz and extraordinary pioneering teachers and spiritual leaders throughout the world. The intention of Dharma Dialogues is to allow our audience to peek behind the curtain to glimpse how human teachers and leaders are transmitting wisdom and navigating uncertainty in these challenging times. Past Dharma Dialogue guests have included Lama Rod Owens, Lama Tenzin Palmo, Lama Anne Klein, Kaira Jewel Lingo, Dr. Cheryl Giles and many others. Dharma Dialogue sessions include informal dialogue between our host and special guest(s), a Q and A session with the audience and a meditation or yoga practice guided by our special guest.
This year-long Dharma Dialogue series will be held online one Sunday each month in 2024.
