Join us for a special book release event for Black and Buddhist: What Buddhism Can Teach Us about Race, Resilience, Transformation and Freedom, co-edited by Cheryl Giles (NDF Contemplative Faculty) and Pamela Ayo Yetunde. The book is a Nautilus Book Award Gold Recipient, in the Religion and Eastern Thought category.

Dr. Giles is a licensed clinical psychologist and the Francis Greenwood Peabody Senior Lecturer on Pastoral Care and Counseling at the Harvard Divinity School. She teaches courses on spiritual care, trauma, and contemplative care of the dying. Learn more here.
