Looking Ahead to 2021
As everyone is aware, when it comes to making plans these days, we are faced with constantly changing and challenging phenomena. Although we hoped to see a decline in the spread of the COVID-19 virus, in fact, we are experiencing the opposite. The COVID-19 pandemic is resurgent and there is much uncertainty about the future. Nevertheless, as we look towards programming for 2021, our goal is to continue to offer as many opportunities for everyone to share in and experience the Dharma as possible.
Weighing all of these factors, we have made the decision that for the first six months of 2021, our calendar will focus on online Dharma programs. We will offer online courses (six weeks), weekend retreats, a few weeklong retreats, and increased opportunities to come together as a sangha to practice and study the Dharma on a regular basis. Lama Willa and Lama Liz will be teaching regularly, along with Kathe McKenna, Camille Hykes, and Bob Morrison. We are also very fortunate to be able to offer retreats with Lama Rod Owens, Brendan Kennedy, and others.
While our current plan is for all onsite group retreats at Wonderwell to remain suspended for the first half of 2021, we will continue to evaluate the situation. We trust that at some point it will once again be safe to gather in person, and we look forward to gradually re-opening to onsite guests when this occurs.
Until then, our intention is to create as many regularly occurring events as possible so that we can come together and share with each other on a weekly basis. We will also continue to offer solo retreat practice opportunities at Wonderwell. If you are interested in a solo retreat, please see our Solo Retreats.
We are looking forward to 2021!
