Kimberly Albert

Let your mind rest. Spend time in community and refill your cup through accessible, safe and engaging Kripalu style yoga. Release tension and open your heart through self-inquiry and guided meditation.

Kim Albert took her first yoga class in 2002 and immediately felt the mind, body and spirit connection as well as the power of practicing in community (Sangha). She accessed a sense of peace and comfort that would lead her to practice many styles of yoga over the years and eventually feel a deep desire to share the practice with others. With over 750 hours of training and her well-honed teaching skills, Kim brings a unique breadth of knowledge to her classes, offering an enriching experience to those new to yoga as well as long-time practitioners.

Kim is a runner, hiker, cyclist and former horseback rider. She has a keen sense of body mechanics and believes in always respecting its limitations. From this foundation, she mindfully sequences classes that will challenge and engage each student while remaining safe and accessible.

Joyful vibrations abound in Kim’s classes! Her witty, fun, and free-spirited personality sets the tone for her students to relax and just be themselves. Kim is also a singer and musician who carefully curates the music for in-person classes to weave rhythm and inspiration into practice. Her intention is for you to fully arrive on your mat and let go; to be in the moment, listen deeply to yourself, and connect with peace.
