Anne-Marie Polanski has practiced Tibetan Buddhism for 12 years. She has helped sanghas in Portland Me as Discussion Leader, Vajrayana Practice leader, and volunteer teacher in fundamental meditation practices.
In the past, she has helped Natural Dharma Foundation in the role of Mitra in the Margha program. She has studied Jin Shin Jitsu, a hands-on method to bring balance to the body and promote healing is a Reiki Master, and plays Middle Eastern Frame Drums.
Anne Marie’s teachers are her root lama Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche, Lama Willa Miller, Anam Thubten. Many others have helped open the door of Dharma and she is grateful for all her teachers past and present.
Her enthusiasm for spiritual practice is fueled by a sense of wonder and curiosity about the transformative power of recognizing the essence of our mind and a deep longing for that natural state of love and compassion. She is especially interested in the body as a tool to awakening through Tibetan Meditation practices.
Anne Marie enjoys helping individuals discover a love for the dharma, how to create stable meditation practice, and how to work towards developing a genuine commitment to ease suffering in the world.

Anne Marie has been a Mitra in the Margha program for 8+ years, mostly in Portland, Maine, where she lives. Being drawn to the Margha program as a Dharma student, it has been a joy to experience the unfolding and flourishing of spiritual practice, while finding common ground with Teachers and sangha. Anne Marie is also a Meditation Teacher with NDF, continuing to explore and find new ways to extend love and care to family, friends, and beyond.
